Levona Grove – the Lishanski family’s vision of a place where nature, fascinating history and a delightful gastronomic experience meet – heaven on earth

The grove is located opposite the Sea of Galilee (the Kinneret), near Capernaum. Its slopes overlook churches, the placid water of the lake and the mountains of the Golan Heights, changing colors with the seasons of the year.

In Levona Grove there are more than100 different species (about a 150 varieties) of special fruit trees from all over the world. It was established in collaboration with Prof. Yossi Mizrahi of Ben-Gurion University.

The magnificent setting is suitable for events of up to 100 people.

Guided tours are offered in Levona Grove, covering the fascinating story of the Lishanski family, told by Yossi Lishanski, grandson of the legendary Yosef Lishanski, an explanation about the different trees and tasting their unique fruits..

“I knew it was neither simple nor easy, and those who seek convenience should not walk this road. But he who has God in his heart, and the will to be pat of Genesis- This is the way” (David Ben-Gurion)
